Two weeks ago CSKI got ready for a daring annual event, the maths event of the year, Team maths! Over the course of the morning Year 7 and Year A and B piled up outside ready for the event. Markers were inside waiting to meet their teams and to have the thrill of flying papers and dashing students. The challenge was given: 20 maths questions, a race to finish first. Perseverance and teamwork were the winning ingredients, along with a speedy runner. It was a close competition and all Pods were place getters in the end Overall Hillary took out the overall House Points. The best problem solvers from both Year 7 and 8 across the school are now practising for the Christchurch-wide Cantamath competition. By Honor Williamson H3
