What a spectacular way to wrap up the year! The bi-annual CSKI Showcase returned in 2025, and this year’s creatively themed ‘Slowcooker Showcase’ was a delicious feast of talent! A huge round of applause to our visionary Performing Arts Leadership team for dreaming up such a fun and memorable concept.
For three electric nights in Week 9, our school hall was filled with the energy and passion of our amazing Performing Arts and Cultural Groups. The audience was treated to an incredible variety of acts, proving just how vibrant the arts are here at CSKI!
Our talented students shone brightly, featuring performances that included the soaring sounds of the Orchestra and the cool rhythms of the Jazz Band, the hilarious improvisation of Theatre Sports, the powerful storytelling of Kapa Haka and the vibrant energy of Pasifika, the driving beats of the Drum Circle, and rocking performances from our many talented student bands, and so much more!
Each evening was expertly guided by a different pair of student hosts (Matri D’s), who took the audience on a fun, engaging, and often humorous journey through the night’s program.
Showcase wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our entire community. We extend our immense gratitude to our incredible students for pouring their hearts into their rehearsals and performances. Your passion and commitment made this year’s Showcase an unforgettable experience! We also thank all our staff members for the tireless work you do behind the scenes, ensuring every detail runs smoothly and supporting our students every step of the way. Finally, a special, massive thank you to Matua Michael! Your dedication, leadership, and passion for the Performing Arts have been inspirational. You brought the ‘Slowcooker Showcase’ vision to life, and we deeply appreciate all your work with the performing groups this year.
