Rutherford Year 7s Embark on Adventurous Sailing and Rafting Journey!

In February, the vibrant Year 7 students of Rutherford delved into the realms of sailing and rafting, igniting their spirits of adventure and camaraderie. The picturesque waters became their playground as they hoisted sails and navigated through the winds, learning the ropes of sailing under the guidance of seasoned instructors.

But the excitement didn’t stop there! The daring bunch also ventured into the realm of rafting, where teamwork and adrenaline melded into an unforgettable experience. With every paddle stroke, they conquered rapids and embraced the thrills of the untamed currents.

Beyond the rush of adrenaline, these activities instilled invaluable life skills – resilience, teamwork, and confidence – in our Year 7s. As they return, their hearts brim with stories of conquests and newfound friendships, enriching not only their school journey but also their lives ahead. Cheers to our adventurous Year 7s for daring to sail and raft beyond the ordinary!
