Our Ngata Year 8 students recently enjoyed an unforgettable camp experience filled with challenge, teamwork, fun, and plenty of memorable moments.

Before heading away, students spent time at school preparing for camp by setting up tents and getting organised for the days ahead. This was a great opportunity for everyone to practise important camp skills, work together, and make sure they were ready for the adventure.

During camp, students were treated to some amazing meals prepared by the wonderful CSKI staff. The food kept everyone fuelled and ready to take on each day’s exciting activities.

There was no shortage of adventure, with students participating in a wide range of outdoor experiences including bush-walking, high ropes, abseiling, adventure-based learning activities, and Tyrolean traverses. These activities challenged students to step outside their comfort zones, support one another, and show resilience, courage, and teamwork.

The fun didn’t stop when the sun went down. Evenings were packed with energy and laughter as students took part in some fantastic night-time activities, including smugglers run, a lively lip sync battle, and an entertaining dance battle between students. These moments created plenty of smiles and gave everyone the chance to relax, connect, and enjoy themselves together.

Overall, camp was a huge success and a fantastic opportunity for our Ngata Year 8 students to build confidence, strengthen friendships, and create lasting memories. We are incredibly proud of the way students represented themselves and embraced every opportunity camp had to offer.
