Ngata News: Sailing Success at Lake Rua!
Students from Ngata 1 and Ngata 4 recently enjoyed a fantastic sailing trip to Lake Rua. They began by constructing their own sailboats, learning about the different parts of the boat and their technical names. Once built, they took turns navigating the lake, showcasing impressive teamwork and collaboration skills with everyone participating in the activity.
The students supported each other, fostering new friendships and demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills. Mr. Brown and Miss Birtch were particularly pleased with the students’ enthusiasm and positive attitudes. The trip was a resounding success, providing a valuable learning experience and creating lasting memories.
We look forward to a year filled with continued growth and engagement. A big thank you to the whānau volunteers who supported our trip, we appreciate your support of our EOTC days.
