Lego Club has been meeting on Tuesday afternoons, and now in our second rotation, the creativity is boundless. Every week brings a new challenge, and our Lego masters quickly get to work—communicating, creating, and using critical thinking to build with the iconic plastic blocks. Through these hands-on challenges, Lego Club serves as a powerful pathway to academic success, beautifully harmonizing mathematics, literacy, science, and the arts.
Time flies during these sessions, and the joy in the room is palpable. Lego is exceptional for developing essential cognitive and collaborative skills. It has been incredibly rewarding to watch confidence grow in quieter students as they present their creations and articulate the complex stories behind them. By blending STEM principles with oral literacy and storytelling, we are setting our students up with the foundational skills they need to thrive academically.
