To the many whānau of our Kahukura schools, we warmly invite you to attend this year’s Maunga Teitei kapa haka and cultural performance. This year it will be held at Te Ara Koropiko West Spreydon School on Wednesday the 20th of November from 6:00pm – 7:30pm. Each of our 7 Kahukura schools will be performing, and we respectfully ask you to stay and support each rōpū from the start to the end.
Āwhina mai, āwhina atu!
Bring along a picnic or takeaway dinner, some chairs or a rug and share kai together as kapa haka groups from our Kahukura schools perform. Feel free to Invite the extended whānau as there will be plenty of room for all and many awesome waiata and haka and other cultural items! In the event of poor weather, schools will advise you on the day if the event is cancelled.
