Another year, another incredible Haka Off, and honestly, the passion and power just keep soaring higher each time! It’s truly inspiring to witness the growth and dedication every year.
This year felt particularly special as all our pods channeled their energy into the heart and soul of the haka. Focusing on quality resonated deeply, and the commitment to doing it well shone through in every performance. The collective ihi, wehi, and wana on the court was absolutely electrifying – you could feel the energy pulsing!
It warmed our hearts to see so much whānau come and support this awesome event. Your presence truly makes it even more meaningful, and we deeply appreciate you taking the time to be a part of it.
A massive shout-out to our incredible Kaea this year– Taitoa, Wairua, Jordon, and Junior! You each led your pods with such strength and presence, embodying the spirit of the haka and making us all proud.
The judges had an incredibly tough decision this year, a testament to the exceptional effort from every pod. The final scores were so close, but with immense pride, we announce Ngata as this year’s Haka Off champions! Congratulations to you all!
Now, we’re already buzzing with anticipation for our next event in Term 2 – the Waiata Off! Bring on the harmonies and the good times!
