The training orchestra meets every Friday at lunchtime for a half-hour of fun, learning how to play music in a group. Some of us have only just started learning an instrument, some have been learning for a while but only by ourselves, and some are accomplished musicians trying out something new.
Recently, our training orchestra performed with precision and grit for two school assemblies. For some of the team, this was their first time on stage, and they were incredibly impressive. Even Mrs. Marryatt was tapping her feet to Funky Town, noting that it was one of the best training orchestras she had ever heard.
Dedication, commitment to practice, and integrity all play a part in making our training orchestra a success. Keep showing up, team—you are all amazing!
