CSKIS Community,
What a great planting we had last time. Thank you to everyone that has helped out at previous plantings and for doing your bit to help make it such a success. The fourth and last planting of the year Sunday 8th Sept QEII Adventure Nature Trail, Red Zone from 10.00am – 12 noon. (This will be the last opportunity for students to use this event as their Community Service requirement if they are aiming to achieve their Gold Aim High Badge.)
Please join us, Eco Action, to help our students and their communities plant 5000 native trees and plants they have grown. Great atmosphere with heaps of fellow student and parent enthusiasts. Please bring some drinking water, solid footwear and your favourite spade if you have one. There will be 400 spades on site, so everyone can help. The more the merrier.

Help our community help itself by developing this community asset that will last for generations to come. The grown forest in the QEII Adventure Nature Trail will provide habitat and food for native birds and lizards as well as sequester carbon to help with global climate change. It’s also quite fun to plant a few plants.
This is the last of four plantings that will see a total of 20,000 locally sourced, student grown, native plants and trees in the ground at the QEII Adventure Nature Trail. Thank you for being involved with this exciting project.
