Earlier in the year we informed our community that as a school, we noticed, to our surprise, some of our school polo tops had begun to fade very quickly. When contacting Mainland Uniforms they were aware of the issue but also surprised and apologetic.
Both Mainland Uniforms and CSKI wish to maintain high standards and support our whānau to have a quality and robust product. Mainland Uniforms and the polo top manufacturer have undertaken testing to investigate why this fading may occur. Mainland Uniforms would like to reiterate that if a family has a polo top that has faded this can be returned to Mainland Uniforms to have the shirt replaced free of charge. Mainland Uniforms has been working with the suppliers of fabric to ensure that this fading issue does not occur again. (Mainland Uniform contact details: 189 Peterborough Street, 03 3603037)
We would also like to thank students and whānau for their ongoing support in maintaining high standards of school uniform. We recognise that this, in part, is an important factor in ensuring inclusivity and promotes our school values of “Aiming High” and “Commitment”. Our loan supply of school uniforms has been under pressure during 2023. For any whānau that no longer require their CSKI school uniform, or is surplus to requirement, it would be greatly appreciated, if possible, it could be donated to be added to our uniform bank. This koha will be gratefully received and aid our school to support any students in need, maintain high standards and ensure that students do not feel any unease regarding their place at our kura. (Particularly socks, black shoes, PE gear). Any donated uniform will be greatly received and included in our uniform bank for 2024 to help support students in need. This can be dropped into the school office at any time
