Our school’s Speech Finals were a huge success this week, with eight brilliant finalists from Year 7 and 8 taking to the stage.
The speakers impressed everyone with powerful speeches on diverse topics, including fear, anxiety, the place of AI, and the future of handwriting. A big thank you to our guest judge, Chris Meakin, who had the very difficult job of selecting our winners from such a talented group.
A huge congratulations to our champions:
- Year 7 Winner: Maia McIntosh
- Year 8 Winner: Paige Dooley
Both Maia and Paige delivered outstanding speeches and will now represent CSKI at the CAIMS Speech Finals in Term 4.
Well done to all our finalists for their courage and hard work.
