Bucket Drumming was an enrichment option this term for some keen drummers and also students completely new to drumming. Each student was equipped with a bucket, drumsticks and some ear plugs just in case! The students showed growth mindset, and excellent cooperation skills. They learnt about reading rhythm notation, correct stick grip, alternate sticking and finished with a mini-concert. Much constructive table tapping was reported by teachers, and some of the students are keen to pursue further percussion tuition now.
