Art from H3 is a talented singer/songwriter who recently entered Rockquest and advanced to the national competition by performing his original music. He graced us with his brilliance on two occasions by sharing his waiata, “The Ride.” This song speaks about the joy of life and letting the experience—rather than just the destination—be your life force. It brings to mind that old adage: stop and smell the roses.
For someone so young to bring this level of wisdom and sophistication to his songwriting is truly humbling. Beyond his writing talent, Art has a genuine passion for performing and is a joy to watch on stage. His voice is strong, tender, and at times rock-star raspy—a quality we all admire.
