On Monday, 30 March, three CSKI teams headed to the Netball Sports Centre at Ngā Puna Wai for the Term 1 Mixx Korfball Tournament. Two teams, CSKI 1 and CSKI 2, competed in A Grade, while CSKI 3 played in B Grade.
CSKI 3 had a strong day, finishing third in their pool with an impressive record of four wins, one draw, and one loss. CSKI 2 faced tough competition in A Grade, finishing the day with one win, two draws, and two losses.
CSKI 1 delivered an outstanding performance, topping their pool with convincing wins over St Martins and Horomaka Hillmorton High School. They carried this momentum into the finals, dominating their semi-final before going on to defeat Queenspark 4–0 in the final. This result saw CSKI reclaim the A Grade trophy for the first time in almost two years!
A special congratulations to Noah Bradley, the leading scorer for CSKI 1, who was named one of the MVPs of the final for his outstanding performance.
