A massive thank you to Paerau Hemopo from 1 Drop Nation who came to share his song “Coming Home” with us at assembly on Tuesday this week. Paerau is the guitar player for 1 Drop Nation who are a local Christchurch band making big waves on the NZ music scene. He also supports students and whānau at our school in his role as Whānau Engagement Advisor. What a great way to celebrate NZ Music Month. We have spent the month exploring a variety of NZ artists in assembly. Our students were inspired and entertained by Paerau and his music and stories.
