On the weekend of the the 16-18th of June over 100 students at South took part in the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge. The challenge was done in many different ways. Some went without furniture or technology for 40 hours while others set themselves the challenge of walking 40 km or only using a certain amount of water for 40 hours. We raised $3555.38! The money will go towards providing communities in Malawi with easy access to clean fresh water. This will mean less children will miss school because they won’t need to spend all day collecting water and illness from dirty water won’t be a problem. Nice work South!
