On Saturday, 4th November, CSKI attended the annual Theatre Sports Competition. Two of our teams represented our school and competed against other secondary schools in Christchurch. They participated in various improv theatre games such as puppets, shared stories, one word at a time, genre audition, and gibberish. Although we did not secure a victory, we want everyone to know how proud we are of our teams’ efforts. They gave it their all and showcased incredible talent.

We want to take a moment to celebrate the fantastic performances of all our teams. They showed great enthusiasm, creativity, and sportsmanship throughout the competition. As directors, we couldn’t be prouder of their dedication and hard work. Well done to all the participants!

We regret to inform you that this year’s Theatre Sports marks the end of our involvement until 2024. However, we hope that our Year 8 students will continue their theatre sports journey in high school, and we warmly invite our Year 7 students to join our team again next year.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the families for their continued partnership with us. Your support and involvement have played a vital role in our students’ success. We appreciate the trust you place in us as educators and value the positive relationships we have built together.

Ngā mihi,

Hayden Barr and Emma Small
