Our Ukulele and Guitar Orchestra (all on ukuleles for this event) played in the Strum Strike Blow Festival at Wolfbrook Arena. This event includes ukuleles, marimbas and recorders and featured over 1000 students from around Christchurch. As some of the senior students at the event, our students represented themselves and the school in a very mature manner, helping those around them when needed and playing their parts very accurately. It was great to sing alongside Julian Hay and Kath Bee and play a lot of New Zealand music.
