On Thursday 3 November the Social Awareness team organised a school disco. Although the Covid Pandemic is ongoing, we wanted to take the opportunity to gather together and celebrate moving into the next phase of living with Covid. We followed safe practice and provided plenty of ventilation and it was an incredibly fun and successful night! Over 150 students attended and everyone had a good time. It was a great atmosphere and was super fun. We had the opportunity to buy lollies and drinks, danced with our peers and even some of the staff were joining in on the fun. Mr Hastings started a popular conga line and Mr McBrearty was dancing in the sound booth while doing the most awesome job being DJ for the night. Overall it was a great experience, thanks to all the teachers for helping with all the duties that come along with running a disco, we are looking forward to the next one!
