School Disco

In Week 2 of Term 3, CSKI held a School Disco to raise money for new Kapa Haka uniforms. The school is lucky to be full of people who like to perform for this group and also there is a wider population who can rip up a dance floor and sing like rock stars. The event was extremely well attended by our fun-loving students! $1170 was raised!

We danced ourselves ragged and sung ourselves hoarse along to the beats/tunes of a diverse range of artists; we could YMCA as well as we could Macarena. Aqua’s “Barbie Girl” was uproariously popular but equally, too, was Guns ‘n’ Roses “Sweet Child of Mine”. Thank you to our wider whānau for bringing us such a broadly appreciative bunch of music lovers!

If you’re a student, did not come along and you’ve ever wondered: “What does the fox say?” the answer appears to be:- “Get to a CSKI disco next time!”
