Elsie recently entered the Christchurch Instrumental Competition. She was competing against the top pianists from around Canterbury and also from further afield. Elsie received two 1st placings in the 12-14 Year Novus Piano Solo and the 12-14 Year Bach Solo. She also received a 2nd placing in the 12-14 Year NZ Composer Solo. We know the amount of work Elsie put in to enter this competition, so congratulations Elsie on your well earned prizes. Elsie is a member of lots of performance groups here at South, including Choir, Rock Band, Jazz Band. She also attended Music Camp and was a member of the Kahukura Chorale.
