The CSKI Choir, Hip Hop Crew and Ukulele and Guitar Orchestra performed at the Kahukura Music Festival in June. An auditioned extension choir, called Chorale, also included many members from CSKI. Our school choir was accompanied live by students, who all rose to the occasion and played beautifully. The festival includes seven local schools and was staged in the Performing Arts Centre (PAC) at Cashmere High School. All of our groups performed with excellence and attention to detail we are very proud of all the hard work put in to get to such a high performance standard. Many thanks to whānau for so willingly supporting your children to attend the festival. These groups now turn their focus towards Showcase and the Christchurch Schools’ Music Festival.
