Christchurch South Karamata Intermediate School welcomes international students to our school community. International students have been part of our school for many years. We welcome the opportunity to have students from different cultures and believe we provide an excellent learning environment for students from other countries.

Christchurch South Karamata Intermediate School is a signatory to the 2016 Code of Practice. When students come to study in New Zealand, education providers have an important responsibility to ensure that those students are well informed, safe and properly cared for. To support this, the New Zealand government has developed the Education (Pastoral Care of International Students) Code of Practice 2016, which replaced the 2010 Code of Practice.
