Fees (International Students)

LONG TERM INTERNATIONAL STUDENT FEES 

Tuition Fee for 4 terms: $13800 (incl GST) 

Administration Fee: $500 (non-refundable)
Per term fee for two or more terms: $3450 (incl GST)

Homestay Fee
Homestay Fee per week per student: $280  (includes three meals and snacks each day and  accommodation)
Homestay placement fee: $300 per student per placement

Designated Care
(a caregiver who is a family member or close family friend) 
The student must be 10-13 years old.
All compliance must be met before approval is granted by Christchurch South Karamata intermediate School.
$300 compliance fee per placement non-refundable.

The tuition fee includes all tuition costs in the New Zealand Primary School Curriculum, but does not include:
  • Uniforms, stationery, work books, writing materials and electronic devices
  • Specialised music tuition and associated costs
  • Costs associated with any extra-curricular activities; such as optional performances, sports, camps, trips, swimming, itinerant music tuition, after school activities
  • Transfers to and from the airport
  • Specialised assessment if required
  • Any specialist teaching required other than English as an Additional Language
  • NZ school dental and health services
  • Entry into academic competition
  • Students travel and medical insurance


SHORT TERM INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS FEES
(Dependant on spaces available)  

Duration 2-10 weeks

Visitor Visa and Insurance Required (insurance policy supplied must be in English and be purchased in NZ. Unicare or Southern Cross ) 

Tuition Fee: $450 per week (incl GST and the Government Levy for International Students)
Administration Fee: $250 (non-refundable)

Homestay Fee per week per student: $280 (includes three meals and snacks each day and  accommodation)
Homestay placement fee: $300 per student 
International student workbook $20 per student (optional)     
Uniform Hire $50 per student
