On Wednesday night the Christchurch South Karamata Intermediate School Choir took part in The Lions Christchurch Schools Music Festival that is presented over 4 nights. We were very lucky to perform in front of our friends and families at the Christchurch Town Hall The theme this year was “Galaxies” which included songs about the moon, stars, and our universe, including the crowd favourite, Rocket Man. Many school students, Year 5 to Year 8 from all over Christchurch are involved in the festival, which features choir singers, a symphony orchestra, and a concert band. Overall the night was a huge success and was enjoyed by all.
