We had two teams competing in this tournament at Hornby High School over the last two days. Our players came to the tournament with only a little knowledge of how to play the game and ended the tournament having mastered many of the skills and gained a greater understanding of the game of Volleyball. There were two Pools of 6 teams and our A Team won three of their games during Pool play. The B Team persisted to improve their skills and achieved their first win during the last game of Pool play, which they were stoked to achieve. Final placings saw our A Team place 4th and our B Team, 9th. The growth of every one of our players was fantastic to witness and they should be proud of their individual achievements. A special thank you to whānau who came to support our teams.
