On Monday and Tuesday of this week six students took part in the CAIMS badminton tournament.
The tournament took place at the Zhu Badminton Centre, Wigram with a number of teams representing intermediate schools from around the city. Our six students were entered as two teams of three..
Each team played a total of seven rounds against other schools. Each round involved singles and doubles matches. After all the rounds were completed each team went on to play for final placings.
The final outcome saw the two South teams playing off with the A team just pipping the B’s.
Throughout the tournament the students demonstrated a high level of sportsmanship and fair play. They supported each other and also took turns umpiring and scoring the games. Well done for a great two days.
