After a two year absence from live performances, CSKI returned to the regional rock finals in front of a live audience and did not disappoint. Congratulations to all 3 bands – Roll Patrol, Electric Aggression and CSKI Rock for their efforts and playing to a very high standard. Special thanks to our guest drummer, Guy Moore. Out of the 16 bands who played, CSKI received the best drummer award – Oscar Pitts from Roll Patrol and best bass guitar player was awarded to Isla Ensor. Thank you to all our whanau for supporting Bandquest this year. Special thanks to Sarah Moore, Sarah Pitts and Louise Van Tongeren for assisting with transport and Brigette BIlbe for organising the pizzas for everyone. Extra special thanks to our rock band tutor Matt Stevenson. To celebrate we are organising an outdoor lunchtime concert this term – watch this space!
