On the weekend of the 5th and 6th of August, Ariyah (S3) competed at the Hyeon Mu Taekwondo Tournament at Pioneer Stadium. People from all over New Zealand came to compete at the tournament.
Ariyah usually competes in the under 57kgs but needed to fight up into the over 57kg category. This meant she needed to fight a 14 year old Junior Black Belt. Ariyah is red belt, black tab, grading into black at the end of the year. Ariyah is so amazing that she won and collected GOLD overall!
