Today we woke up to beautiful Nelson weather. Not a cloud to be seen. At first, Broadgreen presented their Showcase ' Inside Out' to us. It was entertaining and full of technical dance numbers and enthralled our students. After interval we competed in the final sporting fixtures: social basketball, football and rugby. After two loses in the basketball the girls football team had a impressive 4-1 win and the boys lost a closely fought game 3-1. The final fixture was the rugby. Before kickoff an impressive Haka was performed by the majority of the South students. The game was entertaining to watch with Broadgreen out-scoring us 8 tries to 4. In the afternoon we all went to the local pool where the kids could relax and have a bit of down time. The day finished with a very entertaining disco where the majority of the kids dressed up in fluro. I think there will be some very tired kids tomorrow and hopefully it will be a relaxing trip home.
