On Monday the 3rd of December, 3 South teams participated in the Term 4 Year 7/8 Korfball Tournament held at Elmwood Park. These students have shown wonderful commitment and have been training very hard throughout the year.

Our 'C' team was made up predominantly of year 7 students, many of whom were participating in their first or second tournament of their young careers. These korfballers worked brilliantly as a team, finishing with some very promising results. There were definitely some members of the team who will shine bright next year as year 8's.

Our 'B' team consisted of year 8 students, some of whom may not play Korfball again. These players used their experience and skill wonderfully and finished 4th overall after losing to the 'A' South team in the semi-final.

Our 'A' team comprised of a mixture of year 7 and 8 students who have been putting in hard work all year to prepare for these tournaments. When it mattered most, these talented and hard working players combined their skill, effort and determination to produce some of the finest Korfball ever witnessed at a Year 7/8 Korfball Tournament. They concluded the tournament with a comprehensive 9-2 victory in the final to lock away the trophy for the Summer.

Every member of the Korfball squad has shown outstanding commitment this year. They have trained extremely hard each Thursday morning, and it has shown with their standard of play. Well done everyone, bring on 2020!!
