To celebrate the consistent mahi and achievements of our kapa haka rōpu over the year, our Kahukura cluster held a celebration performance at Christchurch South Intermediate School. Whānau brought along kai and blankets and we came together as a community to support our tamariki. Sacred Heart, Somerfield, Thorrington, West Spreydon, Addington, Cashmere Primary, and Christchurch South performed a medley of waiata and haka that they have been learning in their kura over the year. It was a treat to see children of all ages singing their hearts out and performing haka with ihi. Overall it was a wonderful evening and we would like to share a special thank you to all of the whānau who came along to watch. Ngā mihi ki a koutou katoa.
