Today we had a visit from Michael Reynolds of the Christchurch Food Resilience Network, bringing us a gift of 4 fruit trees, 3 apples and a pear. These will be a very welcome addition to our school garden. Some of the students from N4 enjoyed the process of digging the holes, staking, backfilling and tying the trees to stabilise them against the strong Canterbury winds. Thanks to Michael and the students.
Great work by the team!
